CENTERING A BULKHEAD

For plank on frame moels, make sure the bulkhead's center line is correct. To do this take a cutout of the print of a half section and attach it to some manila cardboard with rubber cement (webmaster's note - use rubber cement, as it doesn't shrink the image).

Cut it out to the line with a straight edge and razor blade cut the center line. Place the pattern on the ply and JUST cover the center line with the template. Reverse the template and repreat the procedue and you will guarantee aligned bulkheads.
